{"id":5566,"date":"2016-11-15T20:33:25","date_gmt":"2016-11-15T20:33:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.accentcom.com\/stmary\/?p=5566"},"modified":"2016-11-30T18:51:29","modified_gmt":"2016-11-30T18:51:29","slug":"2016psdinner-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.accentcom.com\/stmary\/2016psdinner-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Tricks and Treats at this year&#8217;s President&#8217;s\/Legacy Society Event."},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-5538\" src=\"http:\/\/www.accentcom.com\/stmary\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/IMG_3420-300x210.jpg\" alt=\"img_3420\" width=\"300\" height=\"210\" \/>Vision for the future of St. Mary<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">This year&#8217;s dinner honoring our President&#8217;s Society and Legacy Society members was held just before Halloween at Hotel du Village in New Hope PA.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">St. Mary Health&#8217;s new President and CEO, Jim Woodward thanked our guests for their continued confidence in St. Mary and outlined his vision for our future.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><div class='et-learn-more clearfix'>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class='heading-more'>See full story here<span class='et_learnmore_arrow'><span><\/span><\/span><\/h3>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class='learn-more-content'>It was a dark and stormy October evening when over one hundred St. Mary supporters arrived at the turn-of-the-century built country estate, Hotel du Village in New Hope.\u00a0 Welcomed to the hauntingly decorated event space by skeletons, pumpkins and witches perfect for Halloween, they were in for a night of treats with just a few tricks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">After a cocktail hour filled with mingling, delicious hors d&#8217;oeuvres, signature apple cider mimosas and live piano music, guests were ushered into the ballroom.\u00a0 Foundation Chair, Todd Buch, began the night&#8217;s program by thanking everyone for their attendance, but most importantly, for their support of the St. Mary mission.\u00a0 He then turned the stage over to Jim Woodward, President and CEO for St. Mary. With a brief photo presentation, Jim first shared his appreciation for the Sisters of St. Francis whose vision for a city of healing in Bucks County is at the core of all we do.\u00a0 He then recapped some of the recent projects, based in this vision and supported by the generosity of everyone in the room, which will significantly impact the patient experience.\u00a0 Completed projects such as the renovation of the front lobby, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and Bee Well Boutique as well as those currently underway, like the Cancer Center&#8217;s Infusion Room, would be impossible without both of these key factors.\u00a0\u00a0 Jim closed his presentation by again thanking guests for their support and expressing his hope for a continued partnership well into St. Mary&#8217;s future.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The program concluded with the interactive magic and mentalism of entertainer Henry Carlyle.\u00a0 Henry wowed the audience with his comedy, sleight of hand and mindreading tricks demonstrated on volunteers from the audience.\u00a0 As guests departed they helped themselves to a selection of Halloween candy, one final sweet treat for the trip home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The President&#8217;s Society Dinner is a way for the Foundation to recognize and thank those supporters whose annual contributions exceeded $5,000 or who have named St. Mary as a beneficiary in their estate plans.\u00a0 If you would like more information on how you can support St. Mary with a financial contribution or a legacy gift, please contact the Foundation at 215-710-2591.<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vision for the future of St. Mary This year&#8217;s dinner honoring our President&#8217;s Society and Legacy Society members was held just before Halloween at Hotel du Village in New Hope PA.
