Giving of Your Time With busy lives, it can be hard to find time to volunteer. However, the benefits of volunteering are enormous to you, your family, and your community. The right match can help you find friends, reach out to the community, learn new skills, and even advance your career. Volunteering can also help protect your mental and physical health. One of the better-known benefits of volunteering is the impact on the community. Unpaid volunteers are often the glue that holds a community together. Volunteering allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place. Even helping out with the smallest tasks can make a real difference to the lives of people and organizations in need. Giving of your time, or volunteering, comes in many forms at St. Mary. Formal opportunities exist in nearly every department, and event-driven openings occur throughout the year. Explore your area(s) of interest and register to volunteer here. Giving of Your Talent We hear from many people that they have a desire to do “something” to give back, but that their schedules do not allow for a regular ongoing office commitment. Opportunities abound at St. Mary for gifted members of our community to showcase their talents in a volunteer capacity. Specialized skills such as graphic design, photography, writing, financial or legal expertise, or strong local networking abilities are in high demand throughout the year in conjunction with a variety of events and programs. Please contact Lisa Juris, Event Coordinator, to explore the possibilities. Giving of Your Treasure Lives are saved every day at St. Mary as a direct result of the generous donations...

Learn WHY Dr. Richard and Mindy Goldstein GIVE BACK Dr. Richard and Mindy Goldstein have a long and rich history with St. Mary. After all, eight of their twelve children were born here. Dr. Goldstein began his professional association with St. Mary Medical Center in 1987, and since then has also served as president of the medical staff from 2001-2003, been an integral member of numerous committees, and helped to establish The Endoscopy Center at St. Mary, one of the first of its kind in the country. While raising a large family and building a thriving medical practice over the past 29 years, the Goldstein’s have come to appreciate the importance of local, advanced medical care. With two disabled children who often need extensive medical attention, the proximity and availability to acute care is critical. “There is a correlation between philanthropic support and the availability of advanced lifesaving technology and equipment. That is precisely why...
