Donors Rocked Their Socks Off in Support of St. Mary Health 2016 Gala! On Saturday, April 16th the gymnasium at the Bucks County Community College in Newtown was transformed into an American Bandstand-rivaling sock hop for a night of fundraising fun to benefit the St. Mary Cancer Center. With a theme rooted in both pop-culture and fundraising, the St. Mary Foundation and event chairs, Dr. Richard and Mindy Goldstein, welcomed the sold out crowd. Guests dressed in a 50’s retro style, kicked-off their shoes and did the twist, slide and watusi all night long. Danny and the Juniors performed their hits “At the Hop,” “Rock and Roll is Here to Stay,” and more. Proceeds from the Let’s Go to the Hop Gala supported the St. Mary Cancer Center to fund advances in cancer treatments. The event featured a silent auction that includeed an EMS Ride-Along package as well as a cash raffle with $15,000 Grad Prize.
