This year the Gala raised more than $166,000 in net proceeds which will directly benefit St. Mary Community Ministries. These funds ensure that we can continue to provide new beginnings for individuals and families in need throughout Bucks County. A portion of the proceeds will be used to purchase a new van for patient transport and other essential functions and to enhance and expand Community Ministries programs.

The 2017 Spring Gala was dedicated to new beginnings for St. Mary and the community we serve. Guests had a great time supporting our Community Ministries programs and enjoyed the opportunity to meet some of the newest members of St. Mary leadership – including President and CEO, Jim Woodward and Foundation Vice President, Heather Wiley.

Poverty is the #1 risk factor for poor health due to limited access to resources and cost of care. In the St. Mary service area, one in 15 households with children and one in 25 households without children live at or below the poverty line and many more live on the margins. St. Mary’s mission is to be a “compassionate and transforming healing presence in our community” with an emphasis on our core value to serve the poor and underserved in our area through our Community Ministries family of services.

We would like to take this opportunity to recognize those who contributed so greatly to the event’s success – our sponsors, advertisers, guests and most importantly, special thanks to our co-chairs, Dr. Richard and Mindy Goldstein, for their leadership and dedication to the St. Mary mission and vision.

This year’s “Super 50/50” winning raffle ticket number is 13683, held by Dr. Melinda Ratini.  Thank you to everyone who supported St. Mary by participating.
