Some background on Albums and Galleries Structure
The system is quite comprehensive and there are several steps involved building and categorizing to order where each gallery is placed.
Note: These images are not placed in the Media Library, they have their own storage system

  • An Album is a container that can hold other Albums (sub-albums) or Galleries.
  • Galleries are what contain images
  • Albums are what we add to pages, an album can contain 1 or more galleries, which can be ordered

Each photo slide show header item you see on the Events page is an album,

Below are page screen captures show the structure

When you click on an album from the first page and go to an item landing page, what you will see are also albums (or sub-albums) to choose from to click and see the galleries with the tile thumbnail slider presentations.

What we are doing is making sub-albums to be able to categorize our events
