Login in to login screen. Link here User name and password to be sent via email Note: clicking upper left logo brings you back to the main page (descriptions with Images below this section)
NOTE: You could with addition of a code add the thumb-slider to the top of each page, below the title [print_responsive_thumbnail_slider id="5"]Descriptions with Images Login:
1. You will be redirected to the Profiles Page Thumb Banner and tutorial, after you log in. (or use the list to the right)
2. Go to old Profile Page on StMaryFoundation.net (good to open a new tab) 3. Select image, right click and save image to your computer,
4. Then select text and copy text
5. Once you are logged in you can get to the new posts by clicking on the profile thumb scroller on the main page,
click the desired image to add or edit
and once on the post has loaded, click the edit button at the top to edit
6. Paste text into new post
7. Go to add media button on new page and upload file, navigate to file then add, then click lower right hand corner “Insert Into Post”
8. Click Photo and click align to left button,
then click the pencil to edit/add caption, click update when finished.
9. Select the caption, go to “formats” and pick the “profilecaption-text” style of the caption
10. Pick category Profiles for the more page Pick featured profiles for the one’s to go on the main page (can pick both as needed)
11. Images and Text for story and on main pages (featured profiles (donors) and more (donors) profiles pages) The images in the story are the images that have been loaded with the text for the person with their caption. The image displayed on the main pages (featured profiles and more profiles pages) are added to the Featured Image box for these sections, they may be the same as in the individual’s page or a different image featured image should be 400 x 500 pixels to work correctly for a front page “featured profile” (our donors section)
What you see for titles on the home page for featured profiles is the title of the post. What you see for the text on the more pages is put ( a small amount of the story is copied and pasted in the excepts box on each individual post (page) like below, taking care not to put more text than the box will hold on the more donors page (a sentence maybe 2 is good) the read more link will disappear if there is too much text for the container
12. Update and view post.
To sort the order of how things appear, pick the Reorder link under the posts menu, then pick the desired CATEGORY, reorder by dragging and dropping
